What exactly does it mean when you feel a flutter like butterflies in your chest?

Dysrhythmia: Could by palpitations caused by a dysrhythmia i.e. Flutter or fib. Should have your doc check you out or go to er. They will check ekg and do blood work. Do not wait too long because if they are conduction problems, the heart can race very fast and in fact be very dangerous. Have it looked into.
