Leukocytosis: No particular foods raise white counts but several medications can: glucocorticoids like prednisone, Filgrastim (filgrastin) (or gcsf), and lithium are the most notorious suspects. Another common cause of leukocytosis (other than infection) is cigarette smoking. Even marked obesity can cause a high white cell count.
