Weight loss: The band is placed around the upper part of the stomach to restrict the amount of food you can consume. It is adjustable depending on the amount of food you can eat and weight loss. The bypass permanently changes the anatomy by re-routing the intestines. The sleeve gastrectomy permanently changes the size of the stomach. All work well for the right people.
