How can i get sore muscles back to normal again?

See details: What has caused the sore muscles? If it is from exercise or overuse, they quickly return to normal without doing anything. If muscle soreness is constant, that is never normal and needs to be evaluated. See a rheumatologist.

Muscle injury: A sprain is when a ligament or tendon is injured by overstretching. There may be minimal or quite a bit of damage to it. Inflammation (redness, warmth, tenderness, and swelling) occurs as a natural healing process. The key is minimize further damage while keeping the area flexible/mobile. Ice massage (24-36 hours), compression, elevation, gentle rom, motrin/advil are the keys to maximize healing.
