Aconitum: Although aconitum napellus was used to protect people from being attacked by werewolves in days gone by, that is not how it is used in homeopathy. Aconitum tincture can slow heart rate & has been used for nervous conditions. I will ask our healthap homeopath, dr. Pappas to comment on this.

Aconitum: The homeopathic remedy aconite is made from the plant aconitum napellus, but does not disturb heart rhythm. When prescribed correctly, it can be extremely effective in anxiety states after strong frights like car accidents or earthquakes -- panic states also, esp when the person fears that death is imminent. Despite folklore about the plant, homeopathic aconite is not linked with werewolves.
