A member asked:

If i am now 57 years old and still have a period atleast thre-four times a year. is t that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is getting a bit : It is getting a bit late once you get past 55 years of age. So you should get checked to be sure that you do not havre some thing else going on as the cause of post menopausal bleeding. Your gynecologist can check your pelvic organs, do a pap smear and possibly also consider doing an ultrasound exam to make sure that your uterus and cervix are healthy.
