OTC & DDS: Take some otc pain medication such as advil, motrin, aleve (naproxen) or what you would normally take for a headache and then see your dentist asap for an evaluation as to the cause of the problem along with the appropriate treatment.

Bite the bullet: Go see a dentist to control the infection. There's no pill, ointment, analgesic, antibiotic, or voodoo spell that will fix your problem. You must see a dentist to have the cause of the pain diagnosed and treated. Remember, the longer you wait, the more extensive and expensive the treatment. Go now please.
