A member asked:

Would it be unusual or concerning for moisturizing eye drops to cause blurry vision?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Moisturizing drops supplement the natural tears and can thicken the tear film which can blur the vision. Some drops have thicker formulations or gel, and can do this more frequently and with greater length of time. So it is normal and usually will go away in a few moments with a number of blinks.
