How much pain should i expect from a liver biopsy and what are the risks associated with having one done?

It is not a big deal: Liver biopsy is a fairly simple procedure. It is done with local anesthesia and is minimally painful, if at all. The risk is bleeding but it is rare as long as the blood clotting is not deranged on account of liver disease. But your doctor can address that for you.
