Allergy symptoms: Seasonal allergies may typically affect the eyes and respiratory mucosa (nasal passages and bronchial tubes). Rarely it may be associated with other dermal or mucosal reactions, such as hives or eczema. It would be unusual for pollen to cause inflammation of the palate. I would think of another cause before considering allergy.
