Not really: A "heart attack" is when the heart loses blood supply and suffers damage. An artificial heart, therefore, can't really get a heart attack, per se. But, an artificial heart is a machine, and it could theoretically break down (although with today's machines, that is not very common). The most common thing that can happen with an artificial heart is the battery running down.
