Can happen, c ur doc: Bad news may be a serious stress factor causing a sudden increase in adrenalin and other hormones that increase blood pressure and can cause a heart attack in a susceptible person with multiple risk factors, including family history of premature onset of coronary disease. There is a condition called "broken heart syndrome" that may occur in "normals", but is much more common in women than men.
