A member asked:

My friend noticed some bumps in her genitals, is this a sign of infection? what are the other symptoms of hpv infections?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many asymptomatic: Many people with genital hpv infections are completely asymptomatic. Genital warts may appear as flat lesions, small cauliflower-like bumps or tiny bud-like protrusions. In women, genital warts appear most commonly on the vulva but may occur near the anus, on the cervix or in the vagina. If someone is concerned that she/he could have hpv, then i recommend a visit to a health clinic or doctor.
