Multiple ways: Lung cancers, depending on type, size, stage (has it spread?), and genetic changes are treated with combinations of surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or targeted drug therapies that attack particular mutations found only in some of these tumors. This requires careful pathology analysis and testing. Consult an oncologist about your husband's particular case (and seek second opinions!).
