Ear clogged: If it is from eustachian tube dysfunction, just having him perform a valsalva maneuver could do the trick. This is to pinch the nose and blow such that the ear pops. If there is fluid in the middle ear, this works pretty well, too, unless the fluid is really thick. If thick fluid or infection, may need antibiotics. May eventually need a tube in the ear, so depends on underlying cause/severity.
