Metastasis.: Prostate cancer, when it spreads, can often metastasize to the bones of the spine. If this happens, there may be no symptoms at all, but may eventually cause bony pain, fractures, or compression of the spinal cord. Fortunately, there are many hormonal, immunologic, and chemotherapy options for patients with metastatic disease.

It may cause pain in: Those regions involved and can cause the bones to fracture if enough of the bone is replaced by tumor and it can even lead to nerve tissue compression.
