Joint: It depends on which joint, how it was injured and how much damage was done. Can u be more specific about the injury. Get it checked. Good be rupture, capsulitis etc.

4-6 weeks : If its treated correctly 4-6 weeks usually need a cam walker or a surgical shoe especially if its the " big toe " also get an x-ray.
