Unknown...: Three procedures are needed, the norwood, the glenn and the fontan procedures. Since only about 30 years from inception, the earliest survivors are in their early 30's, it is unknown how long they will live. Current medical and surgical advances have advanced this lifespan, but transplant may still be necessary. Antibiotic prophylaxis is still recommended for dental or other bacterial procedures.
