Need advice on what is the the best way to cure a sty on your eye?

One way: A stye is a red, tender bump that can develop a yellow spot in the middle, on the eyelid or right where the eyelash meets the skin. It is caused by an infection of oil glands of the eyelid. Microwave a clean potato with the skin on for4 min. Wet a wash cloth or small towel with warm/ hot water. Squeeze out excess water & wraparound the potato. Apply x 15 min intermittently. See eye dr if needed.
