Breath Test: There is a breath hydrogen test. You drink a sample of lactose containing liquid and breathe every 15 -30 minutes into a bag. The samples are run on a machine and based on a rise in hydrogen produced from bacteria in your colon you are diagnosed as lactose intolerant.
