Yes but why 2 weeks?: Replacing saturated (animal) fat with unsaturated (vegetable) fat, plus a plant stanol margarine (like benechol), plus metamucil, plus soy products, plus a statin medication could lower cholesterol by 50-70% in 2 weeks. Important point is that the damage inflicted by cholesterol takes many years, so reducing it needs to be done over many years too.
