Doesn't work: Taking local honey for pollen allergy doesn't really work. Most honey is processed and doesn't contain much pollen. While raw honey contains some pollen and bee parts, it is not necessarily the pollens that people are allergic to. Allergenic pollens are primarily wind-borne not what bees carry back to the hives.
