Real Rx: Get junior to a real physician rather than supplement-shopping or browsing over-the-counter rx's. Benzoyl peroxide is good until he can get an appointment; with the abundant blackheads, a retinoic acid derivative might be a good second step. Topical Clindamycin and/or a systemic antibiotic is next. If that doesn't work, there's more. Good luck.
