How well does savella (milnacipran) work for people suffering with fibromyalgia?

Fairly well.: In my practice, I have found savella (milnacipran) to be a pretty effective therapy. Nausea is the major side effect. I have also found that many do well at fairly at a relatively low dose.

My first choice: Savella (milnacipran) is usually the first medication i try on patients. I do taper its dose up at about half the rate the manufacturer recommends to reduce the risk of side effects.
