Perhaps: If giving your son plain Robitussin with plain motrin, then this is probably acceptable. However, since more companies are developing drug combinations please read the ingredients list carefully. Motrin is identified as "ibuprofen"--which is the same as advil and very similar to aleve (naproxen). The best answer is to ask your local pharmacist if any of your son's drugs used together pose a problem.

??age ??: If your kid is over 6 months of age it is fine to give the two medications concurrently. We avoid Motrin (ibuprofen) products earlier over concerns about kidney issues.
