Problem sinuses?: A head cold - stuffy nose - blocked sinuses can often result in sinus infections. When the sinus in the upper jaw becomes infected, the gums can also feel itchy. Other blocked sinuses can produce a headache. Your ENT (ear-nose-throat) physician can help diagnose whether your sinus(es) is/are infected and treat with decongestants and antibiotics, if needed.

Pain: You need to first rule out an upper respiratory infection if not that then see a periodontist to treat your itchy gums.
