A member asked:

Do doctors even recognize when loose conective tissue adds up in an area, such as the hip, that it causes ischemic pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes [and NO]: Good question... But, hip is a joint! loose conn. Tissue [prob. You meant fat] will accumulate outside the joint , not inside. Any excess weight gain, invariably causes more load of wt. Bearing, thus causing more 'wear and tear'... Ischemia is lack or insufficient blood flow; not necessarily would cause [but will contribute] to the development of ischemia... So, best is to not gain but lose wt.
