A member asked:

Clomid (clomiphene) 100mg and metformin 150 went in for ultra sound and blood work on day 21. could i possibly ovulate later than day 21. this is my 3 round.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: I assume you have pcos. It is not uncommon to ovulate later with pcos. I also assume your metformin dose is not 150 but higher. Your doctor may want to increase the dose of your Clomid (clomiphene) to 150, 200, 250 depending on your situation and your response. Most patients do produce an egg prior to 21 days. Find out the sizes of your follicles. Ask you doctor questions. How big, how many, what is nex.
