Wrap them: You should wear a tight fitting bra or sports type bra. Ice packs can sometimes help. Call your doctor if you experience pain, unusual warmth, fevers or if you feel achy all over like you have the flu.

Be patient: The amount of milk your body creates changes based on how much you baby is nursing. Since you have stopped nursing, over the next few days, you will stop making milk. In the mean time, you can pump just enough to make yourself feel better. Heating pads/ warm baths sometimes help as well.

Engorgement: Your breast are engorged. This can happen when you stop breast feeding. First try gentle milking either with your hand, with a pump or with the baby. Use warm compresses/shower to get milk moving. Green cabbage leaves can be helpful with engorgement. Wrapping the breast w ace bandages may help. A medicine is also available to dry up milk. If fever -possible infection-call dr. Otc meds for pain.
