Nerve related: Issues are usually the problem when complaining of tingling. The exact location of the tingling would help one differentiate which nerve is involved.

Nerve?: Many things are on top of foot like numerous tendons, nerves etc. If pain is sharp you may have nerve irritation and tingling is another sign. If it bothers you daily and continues you may have neuritis of dorsal cutaneous intermediate nerve. See a podiatrist.
