Controllable: The good new with glaucoma is that once diagnosed, it can usually be stabilized and controlled. As long as your pressures are below your target pressure, and you see your eye doctor regularly, both of you can stay ahead of it. Your doctor can always escalate treatment if progression is noted to continue to maintain control. I hope that helps.
