The "stop sex" applies to ANY form of sexual activity that involves the surgical area. The length of delay is standard & allows the healing of the tissues to the point they will not rupture. Do anything before then and the results may be quite messy.

He probably said that to avoid trauma to the surgical site during sex. In my opinion masturbation without involving the surgical area should be OK as would be oral pleasure. But best is if you can ask your doc . Good luck
