A member asked:

Can ulnar nerve entrapment cause pain and weakness in shoulder and arms? if it does and if unable to grip easily along with wrist pain does it mean it's quite advanced? can there be recovery of arm and hand movement once it's advanced?

Ulnar nerve entrapment rarely causes shoulder and upper arm symptoms. Your neuropathy could be anywhere from the cervical spines and the shoulder which may involve the cubital nerve. You should be evaluated by a neurologist. Good luck.
