I suddenly had a large protrusion of my right inner clavical with my neck bent it touches under my chin toward very close to my neck. neck up i feel it is touching my neck. all tests say its arthritis. how can arthritis so sudden or could it be some?

Osteoarthritis would be a slow process of wear-and-tear and bony enlargement of the sternoclavicular joint. Sudden enlargement would be due to dislocation, infection, inflammation, or tumor (rare). Inflammatory arthritis would be infectious arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or others.
