"On the pill" often means the birth control pill, but that does not appear to be what you mean here. Propanolol can suppress tremors and reducing the dose or stopping it can obviously allow them to return and there is also a potential rebound worsening effect for a while. You do not indicate why you have been taking it or why the dose was reduced. There may be better alternatives.
