Is there a link between a thyroid nodule and groundglass opacity on the lung? thank you?

There is no way to tell by looking at ground glass opacity what it is due to because it is a very non-specific finding. So, it depends on what the thyroid nodule is diagnosed as whether or not the lung ground glass opacity could be related. If the thyroid nodule is benign, then it is less likely to be the etiology of the lung ground glass opacity. See a lung doctor for the lung opacity. Good luck!
