While icing and cold compress plus limiting movements can help, a very good option is to see the PCP , go to Urgent Care or even ER to be sure no major injuries have occurred.

Several possibilities include ruptured disc, facet impingement, and sacroiliac dysfunction. Persistence indicates the need to see your physician. Specialty consultation with a physiatrist or an osteopathic physician may be good choices. Wearing a sacroiliac belt may help control the pain and allow better mobility.
