A member asked:

My estradiol is a little low (40.2) not on my period, according to my gyn but my endometrium is measuring 19.1mm. is this concerning? im in perimenopause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Even with relatively low estradiol levels, "perimenopause" may not reflect ovulation, and the cumulative effect of continued estrogen production by ovaries without ovulation, and thus the endometrium is stimulated by higher FSH levels may cause endometrial thickening.
