If you have normal kidney and liver function and you are using it for an acute reason only, the maximum dose would be 3200mg daily. If you are using it for a more prolonged time interval, then you should limit the dose to 2400mg daily. If you do not have normal kidney or liver function (or you are unsure), then ask your doctor who knows your clinical situation best. Good luck!

Toxins are spilling out into your blood stream. Assuming normal liver/kidney function, 800mg (4 200mg tabs) every 6 hrs. That said, you may find 2 200mg Ibuprofen + 1 350mg Tylenol to be equally effective. But pain pills will not fix an infection. This WILL NOT go away. You need immediate treatment by a Dentist. Probably antibiotics, probably root canal/cap or extraction/implant/cap. see Dentist.
