Recently had an ekg done results came back as borderline abnormal. what could cause this and is it cause for concern? could a hr of 118 at the time of test cause it to be abnormal? the doctor didnt elaborate on what was abnormal just said it was?

Abnormal is a variable word like big/little/tall/short. It doesn't give enough information to work with. Without having the full tracing to look at and the information on why it was done. little can be said about the conclusion listed. The comment may simply a variant of normal or something worse. The doc who interpreted it should explain it.
