I had my first cold sore in april on upper lip edge , followed by a translucent looking pimple on forehead which had big white head in few days (this was in july) is it also a cold sore ? i tested positive for hsv 1. can i get cold sores on forehead?

It would be rare to have an HSV1 outbreak on the forehead, but not impossible. If you have similar sores in the same location, herpes would be more likely. If not, probably that one episode was not herpes.
