I recently tested positive for hsv 1 and 2. using the igg test. hsv1 at 58.00 and hsv2 at 9.08. but ive never had any breakouts or symptoms. how long have i had this? i havent been sexually active in over a year! im so stressed and confused?

The IgG test simply means you have had exposure to these viruses at some time in the past. There is no way ton know when that exposure occurred. If you had a positive IgM level, it would mean a more recent exposure. These viruses are very common and having an exposure does not mean you ever had an actual infection-your body made antibodies after an exposure. Good luck!
