Can someone overdose on advil? like if they take too much in one sitting? i get some painful headaches so i'm wondering if i were to take like idk 20 would i die from it or would you need more for that? and whats the safest amount to take for headach?

With advil OTC, the strength is 200 mg for one tablet and an otherwise healthy young adult can take a maximal dose of 600 mg (3 tablets of 200 mg) every 6 or 800 mg (4 tablet of 200 mg) every 8 hours so the total tablets should not more than 12 tablets of 200 mg in 24 hours.
