Hi i have been having burning sensation on my penis/ meatus formonths and have come back neg for std and uti. is it possible trimethoprim antibiotics are causing a false negative result for bacterial std/uti ? as i finished 2 weeks before my last tes?

The symptoms you describe are not typical for any STD. Trimethoprim is not active against most STDs and probably had no effect on your test results. Australia's federally funded sexual health centres are the world's best network of expert STD/HIV clinics. If you remain concerned, you won't go wrong with advice from your nearest SHC. Good luck.
