One of the most common causes of vaginal area itching is yeast infection, which can be triggered by antibiotics -- especially if doxycycline was used for your chlamydia treatment. Check back with your doctor; or maybe try an OTC yeast treatment with an "azole" active ingredient (miconazole, clotrimazole, etc). For sure get seen in person if that doesn't clear itching and discharge.
