Strong vaginal odor -- often "fishy" -- can mean bacterial vaginosis, an overgrowth of mostly normal vaginal bacteria. Probably more after masturbation because vaginal fluid increases with sexual arousal. BV odor often is especially strong after sex with a male partner. See a doctor for evaluation, including STD testing (STDs are more common in women with BV). Good luck.
