It is likely these areas represent inflammation of some sort. Your doctor probably biopsied these areas so you end to see the doctor in follow up to find out what the biopsies showed and if any specific treatment is needed to treat the inflammation, if present. Your GI doctor is the best one to diagnose what these areas represent. Good luck!
