Serotonin Syndrome: Description above may have been another condition mimicking ss. Manifestation of ss range from benign to lethal, classically associated w/ simultaneous administration of 2 serotonergic agents. It can occur after initiation of a single serotonergic med or dose increase side effect of a serotonergic med may by definition be st, but usually benign & improve overtime by receptor up & down regulation.

Not likely. : Serotonin syndrome is difficult to diagnose and mimics many other side effects and syndromes. It is a rare event and most often seen with combinations of drugs that each individually increase serotonin availability such as ssris + maois, ssris + tryptophan, etc.
