Can omeprazole cause weight gain? i lost almost 2 stone before taking omeprazole. ive still got a stone to go, however, on exactly the same diet, i cant lose anything. i feel if i wasnt dieting id pile weight on. im definitely not eating more?

It's not a common side effect but omeprazole can cause weight gain. Have you been checked for an underactive thyroid?
