Any foods in an airtight container or package will be protected from spoilage. Spoilage will occur in many foods in unsealed packaging after some days in the fridge. In your case I wouldn't expect a severe mess as refrigeration should prevent severe unpleasant decomposition but you'll have to throw your unsealed food. Of course I assume no power outages occurred.
