I have to go for urgent work fora day but meetings got delayed and i spend 20 days there i didn't empty my fridge before going my husband shifted to his friend house while i was out of town came back today afraid to open fridge don't know what to do?

Any foods in an airtight container or package will be protected from spoilage. Spoilage will occur in many foods in unsealed packaging after some days in the fridge. In your case I wouldn't expect a severe mess as refrigeration should prevent severe unpleasant decomposition but you'll have to throw your unsealed food. Of course I assume no power outages occurred.
